Ambulance Only

Ambulance costs are expensive and are not covered by Medicare.

If you just want cover for emergency Ambulance transport, you can take out CBHS Ambulance Cover. With Ambulance Cover, CBHS pays the cost of emergency Ambulance services if you are transported directly to a licensed hospital or treated at the scene due to a medical emergency.

You can take Ambulance Cover on its own, and pay an annual contribution, or you can combine it with any CBHS Extras Cover, and pay fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly.

Ambulance Cover pays benefits for emergency Ambulance transport when the transportation is provided by a State Government Ambulance service or a private Ambulance service recognised by CBHS.

There is no annual benefit limit for Ambulance Cover.

Residents of Queensland and Tasmania are covered by their State based Ambulance schemes.
