CBHS Health Fund
Mr Andrew Smith was appointed as an Executive Director of CBHS on 3rd November 2016. Andrew commenced with CBHS in March 2016 as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Andrew was the CEO and Managing Director of InvoCare Limited. During his almost ten years at InvoCare, Andrew took great pride in leading a wonderful group of employees who were widely recognised for delivering outstanding customer service. Prior to InvoCare, Andrew held a number of senior executive positions for over 10 years in retail and FMCG industries.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Andrew is a Non-Executive Director of Private Healthcare Australia (PHA) and is the Chairman of PHA’s Audit Committee. Andrew is also a Non-Executive Advisory Board member of AFEA Pty Limited, a provider of compassionate, experienced and qualified care staff specialising in responsive home care services.
Megan is a Certified Practicing Accountant with over fifteen years’ experience in leadership roles in service, not for profit and Government organisations.
She was Chief Financial Officer at CBHS Health Fund, Easy Being Green, the Australia Council for the Arts and Employment National.
Megan was appointed to the combined role of Group Company Secretary & Chief Operating Officer in March 2017.
Joe commenced as Chief Information Officer at CBHS in October 2015. Joe has over 30 years’ experience in the Asiapac ICT industry with organisations such as iSentia, SGS Group, and Johnson & Johnson. Joe has held roles in an Executive and Senior capacity as an ICT professional throughout his career with strengths in greenfield environments and managing geographically dispersed teams.
Joe is married with three children and lives in Sydney.
Joanne is a human resource professional with over 20 years’ experience. She has worked at CBHS for 9 years in a leadership role, overseeing the human resource function. Prior to CBHS, Joanne worked at NRMA in both its Motoring and Services and General Insurance businesses, and has held various specialist and generalist human resource roles throughout her career. Joanne’s work experience is supported by post graduate qualifications in psychology and employment relations.
Joanne loves to travel and has so far visited Europe, North America, Asia, and plans to see much more of Australia. Joanne is married with one son.
