Glossary of terms

Here’s a guide to assist you in understanding the meaning of the terminology used by CBHS.

  • Botox

Botox injections are used as a treatment for wrinkles, crows feet and facial lines, and also for certain medical conditions.  Botox is now listed on the PBS for urinary incontinence. It is also listed for migraines and hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) and all three conditions are claimable through Medicare. CBHS does not provide benefits for drugs that are claimable through Medicare. If you would like to confirm if Botox is claimable email help@cbhs.com.au.
