Our story

  • 1951

    The Commonwealth Bank of Australia Group establishes CBHS to ensure their staff have access to quality, affordable health coverage.

  • 1996

    CBHS separates from the Commonwealth Bank and changes its name to the CBHS Friendly Society.

  • 2007

    We extended eligibility to immediate family members of CBA Group staff, current and former, and changed our name to CBHS Health Fund Limited.
