Nutrition content per serve*

Energy: 383 calories (1,602kJ) | Protein: 30g | Carb: 43g | Sugar: 15g | Total fat: 18g | Sat fat: 1g | Fibre: 17g | Serves: 1 | Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup cauliflower, frozen
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Optional: ½ cup blueberries

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.

Chef’s tips:

  • Freeze the smoothie into ice blocks for a healthy treat
  • To make it low carb, ditch the banana and sub for berries of choice

Why it’s good for you:

  • Using protein powder makes this shake high in protein, which is essential for building and repairing muscle tissues, making enzymes and hormones, and supporting overall muscle growth and development.
  • Adding chia seeds and frozen cauliflower provides a significant amount of dietary fibre, which aids in digestion, helps maintain a healthy weight, and lowers the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
