Our story

1951 - The Commonwealth Bank of Australia Group establishes CBHS to ensure their staff had access to quality, affordable health coverage.

1996 - CBHS separates from the Commonwealth Bank and changes its name to the CBHS Friendly Society.

2007 -  Eligibility is extended to immediate family members of CBA Group staff, current and former, and changes its name to CBHS Health Fund Limited.
