What is nutrition?

Everything we consume has an impact on our health. Nutrition means consuming the right amount of healthy food and drink to meet our daily energy and nutrient needs to function optimally. Good nutrition helps reduce our risk of chronic disease, support wound healing, improve mental health and promote general wellbeing, helping us all live healthier, happier lives.
