Sleep, fatigue and you

Did you know that one in three adults don’t get enough sleep? To look and feel your best – whatever your age – consistent, good-quality sleep, is essential. In fact, delaying or cutting back on sleep can increase your risk of fatigue and chronic health problems.

About sleep and fatigue

Sleep plays a vital role in your physical and mental health. When we sleep, our brains and bodies are busy consolidating information, growing muscle, repairing tissue and even synthesising our hormones. That’s why getting a good night’s sleep is key to better focus and creativity, improved concentration, less stress, increased immunity and even a longer lifespan. If you skimp on sleep regularly, you’ll lack energy and feel lethargic – in other words, you’ll experience fatigue.
