We’re deferring premium increases for six months
CBHS is pleased to announce we are deferring premium increases planned for 1 April 2023 until 1 October 2023.
Like all health funds, CBHS reviews premiums each year to ensure they continue to reflect the cost of providing quality health insurance and outstanding service.
The average increase for CBHS members will be 4.46%, however your individual premium amount may be higher or lower than this average depending on the type of cover you hold and where you live.
We will be sending each member details of their new premium prior to 1 October.
This is our fourth premium increase deferral in three years − part of delivering on our commitment to members to not profit from the pandemic. This deferral will bring the total pandemic support for members to $45.6 million.
We know the cost of living and affordability are growing concerns for Australians, and hope that this deferral eases some of that pressure over the coming months.
