Provider recognition criteria
CBHS providers must meet certain criteria.
Briefly, this means complementary or alternative therapy health care providers must belong to a professional organisation that covers health care practitioners who provide that type of treatment.
The professional organisation must be a national entity with membership requirements, and they must conduct assessments and implement continuing professional education schemes, among other criteria.
If you have questions about a provider you want to use, or you want to find out more about becoming a recognised provider, call our Member Care team on 1300 654 123 or email help@cbhs.com.au.
