COVID-19 is a respiratory illness. Most people who contract COVID-19 make a full recovery, but in severe cases the illness can prove fatal.

What is COVID-19?

COVID-19 is a new coronavirus illness that is easily transmitted between people. COVID-19 appears to affect adults more than children and can have a greater impact on older people with underlying health issues, such as diabetes, obesity and heart and lung conditions.
